This year marks the 56th annual Canadian-American Days Festival here in Myrtle Beach. Each year, thousands of Canadians flock to Myrtle Beach to take advantage of the great weather, wonderful shopping, awesome attractions, dining, and more, but this year the City of Myrtle Beach had concerns that many Canadians would not visit the area due to their declining currency.
However, in order to encourage and help Canadians to still visit this winter, many businesses in Myrtle Beach are offering discounts to alleviate the challenge of current exchange rates. From January 1 until April 30, 2017, select hotels will be offer discounts up to 55% off, and select theaters, restaurants, and attractions are offering discounts up to 30%. This way, Canadians who want to visit during this time frame or during the Can-Am Days Festival from March 11-19, can take advantage of lower prices in order to justify their annual vacation to the Grand Strand.
The following restrictions apply to the Can-Am deals:
• Canadian ID is required
• These deals cannot be combined with other offers
• Blackout dates may apply
•Deals only valid between January 1-April 30, 2017
